Burdekin Water Festival
Burdekin Water Festival
The Burdekin Water Festival is one of the longest running festivals in Queensland, celebrating the abundance of water in the Burdekin region. Each year, a dedicated committee organise a wide range of exciting events and competitions as part of the two-month long celebrations.
The culmination of the Burdekin Water Festival program ends with the Grand Parade & Mardi Gras on Queen Street, Ayr from 4:30pm. Once the Grand Parade is over, the party begins with fun rides, delicious food, vibrant music, great entertainment and stalls for everyone to enjoy.
Everyone is welcome to join in what will be an extraordinary celebration and continue the festivities into the night for the official crowning of the Junior Ambassador winner and runner up at 7pm on the Main Stage outside Harvey Norman.
