Ayr Post Office
Ayr Post Office
The Ayr Post Office, located at 155 Queen Street, Ayr, is a heritage-listed site. Designed by the Commonwealth Department of Interior, this solid brick building with its distinctive red tiled roof and cupola was built in 1936. It replaced the original post office building which opened on 25 August 1883. The building was added to the Australian Commonwealth Heritage List on 22 August 2012.
