Ayr War Memorial
Ayr War Memorial
The Ayr War Memorial was the first officially gazetted area in Ayr. It features memorial gates, crafted from clay in 1926, dedicated to those who fought and died in World War I. Originally erected to honor the fallen of World War I, the memorial later had the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War II and the Korean War inscribed upon it.
