The Burdekin Shire Council's 1996 CBD Revitilisation Project saw the creation and installation of 10 historical plaques to the footpaths in Queen Street, Ayr to depict the history of certain buildings. Keep your eyes peeled for these plaques scattered throughout Queen Street which will give insight into the history of the shire.
