Celebrating the region's water abundance, this historic festival is one of Queensland's longest-running festivals. Spanning three months, it features an Ambassador Program and associated events The culmination of the Burdekin Water Festival program ends with the Grand Parade & Mardi Gras in Queen Street, Ayr from 4:30pm. Once the Grand Parade is over, the party begins with fun rides, delicious food, vibrant music, great entertainment and stalls for everyone to enjoy. Everyone is welcome to join in what will be an extraordinary celebration and continue the festivities into the night for the official crowning of the Junior Ambassador winner and runner up.
