Native Wildlife
The Burdekin region is home to over 1300 species of marsupials, birds, fish reptiles and plants. There are many swathes of pristine natural coastal and bushland habitat across the Burdekin including Cromarty Wetlands, Wunjunga, Alva and Plantation Park.
