Home Hill Harvest Festival - Grand Parade & Street Party
Come down to Home Hill’s biggest event of the year – The Queensland Country Bank Home Hill Harvest Festival Grand Parade and Street Party!
Celebrating the sugar industry in the Burdekin, the Home Hill Harvest Festival runs from September to November with a number of great events. The Festival culminates with the Grand Parade including floats from festival queens, community groups and businesses and ends with a Street Party featuring entertainment, rides, food and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Join us as we line the streets of Eighth Avenue from 5pm and cheer on the parade participants, spreading joy and camaraderie throughout the community. From local businesses to schools and community organisations, participants come together to showcase their creativity and celebrate the festival’s theme of “Our Town.”
As the sun sets, Home Hill transforms into a lively hub of excitement and celebration for the Street Party. Explore an array of food stalls offering mouth-watering treats from savoury delights to sweet indulgences. Thrill-seekers will find their paradise among our carnival rides, offering adrenaline-pumping adventures and laughter-filled moments for all ages. But the real magic begins as the streets come alive with the infectious rhythm of live music. Talented local bands will take the stage, filling the air with toe-tapping tunes that will have you dancing until dawn.
